Power Generation
Driving efficiency and emissions reduction in the power generation sector
For more than half a century, the Greenbank Group has successfully delivered a wide range of services to the power generation sector.
In many parts of the world, large industrial power plants continue to rely on coal as a primary fuel source, and Greenbank is committed to helping them improve efficiency while reducing both costs and harmful emissions. At the same time, we can also work with plants wishing to convert to more environmentally friendly alternatives to coal, such as woody biomass, energy-from-waste (EfW) and other biofuels.
As highlighted in the table below, our extensive range of products and services includes the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of key plant infrastructure with wear protection systems such as bulk fuel handling transfer equipment, basalt and alumina lined pipework and wear protection systems.
Greenbank also offers patented and bespoke engineering services and technologies for boiler combustion efficiency improvements, fuel analysis, monitoring and enhancing fuel distribution and fuel flow balancing.
By utilising advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and discrete element method (DEM) modelling, as well as 3D laser scanning and 3D laser mapping, we can manage new installations and retrofit upgrades from start to finish.
As a result, we’ve established a global reputation for helping the power generation industry meet increasingly stringent environmental legislation while reducing costs.
