Franklyn Yates Engineering, like all of us has had to make changes to our usual practice during the pandemic. This includes maintaining skills and progressive training. As training providers have moved to provide online access individuals across the company have completed various courses.
EUSR Water Hygiene Training with McCrae Training for Gary Williams, Steve Williams, Wesley Taylor, Alex Lee, Alan Williams completed during May. This allows these employees to work on clean water treatment sites.
Portable Appliance Testing Training Course provided by Training Express. This was successfully completed by Wezley Taylor in May. Wezley is now able to assess and minimise risks, carry out inspections and understand the safety procedures that need to be in place when using portable appliances at work.
Emergency First Aid at Work provided by Training Express and successfully completed by Wezley Taylor during May. This course covers the different types of emergencies that can occur in the workplace, safety laws and regulations, best practice procedures and equipment.
