The publication selected the Greenbank Group as one of their four ‘Kings of Coal-Firing’ in the Modern Power Systems Coal Power Innovation Awards 2010, recognising the significance of the group’s groundbreaking coal-fired boiler optimisation technology, which reduces the amount of coal required to produce energy, helping minimise carbon emission levels .
Commenting on the award, Managing Director Charles Conroy said: “Innovation is a major part of our company’s ethos so we are extremely delighted to have received an innovation award from one of the world’s leading professional journals for the power industry.”
“The contribution boiler optimisation technology plays in the power industry’s efforts to clean up coal is becoming increasingly acknowledged and recognition of this by a leading market influencer such as Modern Power Systems will undoubtedly further highlight the significance of research and development in this area in the global battle to reduce carbon emissions”, he continued.
This latest endorsement of the Greenbank Group’s cutting-edge products not only serves to demonstrate the breadth of innovative measures being implemented by the energy industry in a bid to meet ever-increasing emission reduction targets and improve operational efficiency, but also cements Greenbank’s position as the world leader in the field of coal-fired boiler optimisation.
