Eleanor and Her Amazing FEET!!

Everyone at Greenbank would like to congratulate Eleanor for a truly amazing feat of achievement...

Eleanor Mason, Greenbank's HR Officer, joined 5,400 other runners in the SIG Insulations Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 12th May after clocking up many miles and long hours of training on the treadmill at the gym, over street pavements and down canal tow paths.

Eleanor finished the race in front of large crowds in the Don Valley Stadium, home to British athlete Jessica Ennis. She completed the race in a fantastic time of 1 hour, 31 minutes and 18 seconds. This made Eleanor the 29th fastest women in a field of 1,800 female competitors.

In the process Eleanor successfully raised just over £300 for the British Heart Foundation. It was very much a family achievement with husband Richard and daughters Victoria and Catherine successfully completing the Sheffield Fun Run on the same day.
