Severn Trent Water is in the process of upgrading the sewage treatment works at Tideswell in Derbyshire. As part of the project the existing centrifuge is being upgraded with new Alfa Laval centrifuges.
Swedish centrifuge manufacturer Alfa Laval has selected Franklyn Yates Engineering to complete the site installation at Tideswell Water Treatment Works. The works included on this Severn Trent Water site are the removal of the existing centrifuge, installation of a new centrifuge, relocation of an existing access platform and modification of various pipe work systems to accept the larger centrifuge.
