This project consisted of the design, supply, manufacture, installation and pressure testing of a biological treatment process. The treatment process is being delivered via a membrane bioreactor system that includes aeration and sludge handling on the effluent treatment plant on the Dairy Crest site in Gloucester.
The scope of works consisted of all necessary design, design approvals, drawings, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing, delivery, offloading, erection / assembly, hydraulic testing and included the supply of all necessary materials, fixings, labour, lifting, crane hire, scaffolding and all special tools.
The work also consisted of the positioning, lining, levelling and securing of all free issue pumps along with the installation of all free issue valves, flow meters and instruments.
All pipework systems were manufactured, fully welded, installed and pressure tested at site to reduce the number of flange connections throughout the pipework systems.
Franklyn Yates completed the installation of all the interconnecting pipework from the inlet screen area through to the various tanks via the DAF Feed Pumps, the DAF System, the DAF Effluent Tank, the Bioreactor Screen Feed System, the Bioreactor Tank Membrane Feed Pipes, the Biological Sludge Wasting System, 2 No; UF Membrane Systems and the RO Systems without incident or accident and to the clients satisfaction.
